makiolaj ddec2d8ed1 fix(alarms): open the ring screen when the editor's Delete is refused
Deleting a ringing alarm from the editor is refused, and a refused tap did nothing visible. It now opens the ring screen, the same way out the list's card offers.

makiolaj 7adda73a79 fix(alarms): keep the editor's Delete off a ringing alarm too
With its confirmation gone, one tap on the editor's Delete would have
silenced a ringing alarm round its dismiss challenge, which the list's
swipe is already kept from doing; the ring screen is the way out. The
list's delete now runs on the application scope like the editor's, a
thrown-away card ignores a new drag, and the timers snackbar clears the
live pill on an empty tab.

makiolaj 5f3b97b32a fix(alarms): refuse a list delete of a ringing alarm in the engine
The list's delete re-checks for a ring under the engine lock, so a
swipe released as the alarm fires cannot silence it round its dismiss
challenge. An Undo whose snackbar is already up no longer goes stale
on a rotation after a long accessibility timeout, and a deleted card is
thrown clear of the screen edge.

makiolaj 697678b226 fix(alarms): drop an Undo offered while no list could show it
A delete can finish while no list is on screen, such as the app sent
home the instant the editor's Delete was tapped. Its Undo is now
dropped unshown once it is 30 seconds old, instead of surfacing hours
later. Alarms and timers share one UndoSlot for this. A card whose
swipe is re-enabled mid-settle still slides home.

makiolaj 62da327771 fix(alarms): bring a card home when its swipe is disabled mid-gesture
A card whose alarm starts ringing during a drag or the throw-away
animation slides back instead of staying displaced, and the delete is
re-checked after the animation, so it cannot land on a ringing alarm.

makiolaj af12b7bb34 fix(alarms): keep a ringing card out of the swipe, and Undo off the ViewModel scope
A ringing alarm's card no longer swipes or offers Delete: it leads to
the ring screen, and a swipe must not get round the dismiss challenge.
A drag cancelled before release (a ring screen opening on top) never
deletes. Undo restores on the application scope, since a claimed Undo
has no second chance. Closing a cycle and deleting share one teardown.

makiolaj ef26d433e1 fix(alarms): let an unanswered Undo lapse, and make delete and restore atomic
A snackbar the screen leaves unanswered (another tab, Settings, the app
closing) now counts as expired, except across a rotation. Held back, it
could restore a snapshot from hours ago, ring a long-gone timer, or
land on top of a backup restored in the meantime. One shared
UndoSnackbarEffect does this for alarms and timers.

The engines' delete and restore run non-cancellable, so a caller
cancelled half-way cannot leave a restored alarm unscheduled. The
editor writes the label still in flight before it deletes, so Undo
brings back what was typed.

The swipe counts the touch-slop overshoot, keeps a card flung back
towards the start, slides a card home if its row is still there a
second after the delete, and no longer recomposes on every drag frame.

makiolaj 2feed2ee35 feat(alarms): swipe to delete, with Undo
An alarm card swipes away towards the end edge, or deletes from its
"Delete" accessibility action, and the list's snackbar offers Undo.
The editor's Delete drops its confirmation for the same Undo, routed
through a singleton so the list can answer it after the editor pops.
Timer cards get the same Undo for their corner delete.

AlarmEngine.delete stops a ringing alarm and clears a snoozed one's
notification under the engine lock; restore puts the row back under
its own id with its ring state and reschedules. A ringing alarm comes
back dismissed, never ringing; a finished timer comes back reset.

The swipe is hand-rolled so the end-to-start drag stays with the tab
pager.

makiolaj 3003f75333 fix: keep the built-in timer presets when a backup has none
A backup without the timer_presets field decoded it as an empty list,
which means "the user removed them all", so restoring it wiped the
built-in presets. A missing field now keeps them. BACKUP.md describes
this and the per-alarm clamps.

makiolaj c83c12cf64 feat: offer the "Timer expired" sound
The sound Google Clock and BlackyHawky's Clock use for timers is
timer_expire.ogg from AOSP DeskClock, bundled with those apps rather
than installed as a system ringtone, so RingtoneManager never lists it.
It is now bundled here too and listed first in every sound picker.

The choice is stored as clockula://tone/timer_expired and resolved to
the raw resource when played, so it survives a restore into another
build variant. The file is Apache-2.0, recorded in docs/PROVENANCE.md
with the licence text in licenses/.

makiolaj e870918a03 docs: plain-language pass over every doc
Removes AI-writing patterns across the docs, store listing and
templates: dash-heavy rhythm, not-X-but-Y contrasts, one-line kickers
and decorative bold. Facts, code, links and headings are unchanged.

Also fixes leftovers copied from the sibling apps: the crash report
template promised "no calendar content", and CONTRIBUTING described
Agendula's task-provider layout, test seams and commit style.

makiolaj 881f6b1286 ci(release): port Agendula's 1.1.0 release pipeline, with betas
Brings the workflows, scripts and fastlane setup up to Agendula's
v1.1.0-beta.1 state:

- beta.yaml: a release/** branch carrying X.Y.Z-beta.N publishes a
Gitea + Codeberg pre-release with the signed APK. Never F-Droid or Play.
- scripts/version_info.sh derives versionCode from versionName for every
workflow and CI step. Clockula has no shipped 1.0.x codes, so it uses one
  scheme: X*1000000 + Y*10000 + Z*100 + (beta N, or 99 for stable).
- CI checks the committed versionCode, blocks a beta from reaching main,
enforces the 500-char What's New and validates the store listing.
- Shared publish_gitea_release.sh / publish_codeberg_release.sh /
release_notes.sh replace the inline steps in release.yaml.
- Renovate also runs on every push to main to rebase conflicted PRs.
- jniLibs keepDebugSymbols, which the reproducibility guard now requires.

Fixes a bug present in Agendula too: the Codeberg tag lookups used
/git/refs/tags/{tag}, which matches by prefix, so v1.0.0 would have
"existed" as soon as v1.0.0-beta.1 did. That would have refused every
later beta and skipped the stable release. Both now use /tags/{tag}.

makiolaj 19ee678a1b feat(widgets): let each widget pick its theme and wallpaper colours
Every widget instance can now follow the system or be pinned to Light or
Dark, and on Android 12+ turn the wallpaper's colours off in favour of
the app's own palette. Both are set in the widget's config screen and
stored in its own Glance state; an instance without them keeps today's
look.

Glance content takes them through WidgetTheme. The plain-RemoteViews
parts (the analog and digital faces, readouts and chronometers) go
through a new WidgetPalette, which resolves the widget_* palette under a
forced day/night and sets concrete colours, or day/night pairs, on the
views. The app's own tones are now widget_app_*, so they stay reachable
on API 31+. The analog and digital clocks are re-coloured on API 31+
only: below that AnalogClock's hands and a shape's background tint can't
be set through RemoteViews, so their config screens don't offer it.

The next-alarm and timer widgets gain a config screen for this
(configuration_optional, so placing one doesn't stop there). The analog,
stopwatch and quick-timer config screens become settings screens with an
OK, like the digital clock's, since they now hold more than one choice.

Background opacity is left out: most faces are a shape with text in its
container colour rather than a card, so there is no background to fade
without losing contrast against the wallpaper.

makiolaj 462f9f8c9f feat(widgets): open Alarms from the clock widgets, or a tab of your choice
Tapping the digital or analog clock widget now opens Alarms instead of
World clock, and both config screens gain an "On tap" setting (Alarms,
Timers, Stopwatch, World clock) stored per instance next to the style.
Instances placed before the setting existed open Alarms. The analog
config becomes a settings screen like the digital one, with the style
behind a row, to make room for it.

A widget tap sometimes showed whatever the app was last on instead of
its tab, for two reasons. The shell replayed a deep link as a tab tap
with restoreState, so it restored the tab's saved back stack, nested
screen and all (fixed by the pager shell, which pops to the tab). And
the widget intents carried only NEW_TASK, so with a picker or settings
page left on top of MainActivity the task was merely brought forward and
onNewIntent never ran. Every widget that opens the app now builds its
intent in one place with CLEAR_TOP and SINGLE_TOP as well.

makiolaj be526711d7 feat(shell): swipe between tabs
The four tabs are now pages of one HorizontalPager on a single NavHost
route, so a sideways swipe moves between Alarms, Timers, Stopwatch and
World clock as well as tapping the bar. The pager is the source of truth
for the selected tab; editors, the timer setup page and Settings stay
NavHost destinations pushed over it. A tab tap from one of them pops
back to the tabs, and a deep link always lands on its tab rather than on
whatever nested screen was last open there.

Swiping is on only under a navigation bar: beside a rail the tabs are
stacked vertically, and a horizontal swipe has no counterpart there.

makiolaj 45e5a51c98 feat(worldclock): show home time as text under the analog face
The World clock tab now prints the home time under the hero face in the
app's 12/24-hour format, reversing the earlier call to leave it out.
Reading the exact minute off a dial is slow, and that minute is what
most visits to the tab are for.

The face no longer has a content description, so TalkBack does not read
the time twice. The readout, "Home", the city and the zone name are one
merged node instead.

makiolaj cac5b2dfca refactor(settings): remove the unused default timer duration
Settings > Timers offered a "Default duration", but nothing that creates
a timer ever read it: the keypad starts empty. The row, its preference,
ClockDefaults.timerDuration and the backup field are gone, and the
screen's hint and the hub's subtitle now only speak of the sound.

Backups no longer write default_timer_duration_millis. Older files that
carry it still import, since the codec ignores unknown keys.

makiolaj f37c5f2f84 feat(ringtones): let a music app play the alarm
"Choose from a music app…" in the sound picker browses any app that shares
its library through Android's MediaBrowserService and stores the choice as a
clockula://media URI in the existing ringtone field — no schema change, no
new permission, no internet. The music app streams with its own.

At ring time the app is asked to play through its media session. Every wait
is bounded and any failure falls back to the ordinary alarm sound: the app
won't connect or start, stalls or buffers too long, or the media stream
might not be heard (headphones or a classic Bluetooth device connected, Do
Not Disturb muting media). The ramp drives the media stream and the user's
media volume is restored when the last media ring ends.

RingAudioPlayer.start no longer suspends: vibration starts up front, the
timer collector is not held up, and a generation token keeps late work from
reviving a stopped ring.

makiolaj 616bf7f67f feat(backup): JSON export/import through SAF, whole-state replace
clockula-backup-v1.json, schema documented in docs/BACKUP.md per
PLAN.md §7: alarms, timers and world clocks as configuration only —
ring state and a timer's running anchors never leave the device, since
neither means anything on another one. Unknown fields are ignored at
any level; a malformed known field rejects the whole file rather than
importing it half-way.

Import is whole-state replacement, not a merge, and the backup screen
says so before the user confirms. Before replacing: a ringing alarm is
dismissed and every running timer is deleted, so the import can never
strand a live ring session; after it, AlarmEngine and TimerEngine are
told to re-resolve so the imported state is live immediately.

BackupDao adds delete-all/insert-many queries under one transaction —
no schema or version change, queries only.

makiolaj c8cc156691 docs: bring home-screen widgets into M10, out of post-v1
Widgets share M10's machinery end to end: the next-alarm and timer
state a widget mirrors is exactly what the settings/backup/self-check
work already touches, and a widget tap is just another caller of the
MainActivity door the AlarmClock contract already opens. Keeping them
parked in post-v1 would mean building the same read paths twice.

QS tile, screensaver and bedtime stay deferred — none of them shares
M10's surface the way widgets do.

Also tightens PLAN.md §4's DND wording (interruption-filter read, no
ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY) and §7's backup semantics (whole-state
replace, ring state excluded, Room column vocabulary) ahead of M10's
implementation.

makiolajandClaude Sonnet 5 d47220947b feat(timers): redo the add-timer flow as a full-screen calculator keypad
The Timers tab gets a full rewrite of how a timer is created, after Google
Clock as the interaction reference (PLAN.md §11):

- A dedicated TimerSetupScreen replaces the bottom-sheet/inline setup panel:
  a per-unit "00h 00m 00s" readout, a "00" key, and a big centred play
button that never shifts position when Clear fades in beside it.
- The keypad grows into the thumb zone on its own screen (92dp keys, pushed
toward the bottom), and both it and the readout read bold.
- Presets are dropped from the flow; TimerDurationEntry gains the matching
  domain support (hoursSegment/minutesSegment/secondsSegment,
  plusDoubleZero()).
- An empty timer list shows the same readout/keypad/Start inline, in place
of a "tap + to add" card — the keypad is still the empty state, just the
  redesigned one.
- Timer cards are disconnected like the Alarms tab's own list, each with an
instant, unconfirmed delete via a small corner button (re-creating a
timer is faster than reading a confirmation dialog would be).
- Hero readouts go bold app-wide to match: stopwatch, alarm rows, world
clock, the ring screen, and both editors' length/time displays
  (ClockulaReadoutDefaults.Hero and matching call sites).

Alongside: Android 16 Live Update support for the running-timer notification
(POST_PROMOTED_NOTIFICATIONS, ProgressStyle), the live pill restyled to a
plain tonal circle, the alarm dismiss-chooser dialog moved onto Floret's
OptionCard, and small fixes to addTime's zero/negative-result handling,
repeat-day selection and alarm routes.

makiolaj 9ab3927efe docs: the system boundary, and what it refuses
`ARCHITECTURE.md` gains §17: the door, the split between the Android-free
validator and the reader that guards the unparcel, the range rule (clamp what
is happening now, drop what would define a future ring), the candidate table
for "which alarm did you mean", and the three deliberate narrowings — including
why a link we cannot read dismisses nothing rather than everything.

§4 records schema v3 and its migration; §13 records the reading of `PLAN.md` §6
this milestone builds, since a malformed intent lands the user in an editor
over a row created from the valid extras, there being no "new alarm" sentinel.

How Clockula is built today: the layers and the data seam, the package

The section on the two clocks is the one a future contributor will need
most — which aggregate resolves against which clock and why, the timer's

as live, stated as it actually behaves rather than as it was first
assumed to. Closing that window needs a persisted boot id; M3's

The README leads with the thing that is actually different about this app
rather than burying it: Calendula and Agendula front standards someone else
maintains, and Clockula cannot, because there is no open provider behind a
clock. Saying so plainly is better than implying a thesis the app does not
meet — and the three things that replace it (the AlarmClock contract, IANA
zones, an exportable format) are real commitments, not consolation.

CONTRIBUTING's scope section now names the trade this project will not make:
nothing ships that buys a feature by making an alarm less certain to ring.

Jean-Luc MakiolaandClaude Opus 5 97ed6cf6f5 ci: the full release pipeline, Codeberg-canonical from commit one
Both siblings' pipelines are near-identical; the real difference between them
is which forge is canonical. This is Agendula's spine — it pushes the tag to
Codeberg itself and flags pre-1.0 releases as pre-releases — with Calendula's
`play` job grafted on unchanged.

Taking Agendula's spine means there is no Gitea-canonical phase to migrate out
of later, which is the one thing Agendula had to unwind.

The Codeberg publish step stays NOT continue-on-error, inherited that way
deliberately: in Agendula it reported green through five consecutive releases
while never once publishing, which is how a crash-fix release reached F-Droid
but not the users who needed it. Comments that recount that history now name
Agendula, so an inherited scar isn't misread as ours.

The `play` job runs last and isolated, and skips cleanly until
PLAY_SERVICE_ACCOUNT_JSON exists — so it stays dormant through the whole
pre-1.0 run, which is the correct behaviour anyway.

Templates, the contributing guide and verify-release.sh are rewritten for this
app's domain rather than renamed: the architectural rule here is that Room
types stay in the data layer, and the on-device release check is an alarm that
survives a lock screen and a reboot, not a task list that loads.

android.provider.AlarmClock intent contract, IANA tzdata, and a documented
JSON backup format.

Locked: four surfaces and no extras in v1, Room + DataStore + JSON export,
maximum alarm reliability including a self-check diagnostics screen, seed
#6B7A5C (completing the family's Calendula→Agendula colour rotation), four
tabs plus a live running-state pill, Codeberg-canonical from commit one, and
floret-kit from day one with core-prefs + core-di extracted up front.

ROADMAP carries M0–M11 as an ordered work queue with per-milestone done
criteria, written to be executed one milestone per loop iteration.
